From The Beginning
Paul was a professional drummer/songwriter with 80s band In Tua Nua until they broke up in 1989. After that he set up a small Recording Studio in Howth called Yellow Moon Studios. In 1998 he went to work for ONIVA MEDIA PRODUCTIONS as an audio consultant working on their large multimedia projects. While there he got involved in video production and was trained as an editor on AVID by senior editor Roisin Leggett. Together they worked with large corporate clients such as Eircom and the IDA. While there he met composer/videographer Derek Cronin and after the demise of Oniva in 2001, they decided to go out on their own and form a production company to create Video, Audio and Music.

Paul Byrne: Videographer and more...
Paul mostly works as a videographer, producing, filming and editing but his drumming and vocal skills are still in demand so he plays music on the weekends with various bands including The Guilty Party, In Tua Nua, The Drays and The Unelectables. While primarily a creative, Paul has a very strong organisational side also. Not only producing and organising video productions and shoots, Paul also curates and organises music and charity events. In 2017/18 he has organised and curated A Night For Aware at The Olympia Theatre, Fight The Big C at The Summit Inn Howth and The Howth Jazz & Blues Festival 2018. Since then he has gone on to organise the Howth Roots & Blues Festival in 2019 and 2022.
